Wiz Khalifa really went back to the roots with “Kush & OJ 2,” tapping into that smooth, laid-back energy that made the first one such a classic.

“How We Act” hit different, like a memory you forgot you had. It has the exact same aura as the original Kush & OJ; it’s like he found a way to teleport us back to that era. Real mellow, real nostalgic, like something you’d ride around to on a Sunday with the windows down.” Crime Bud and Women” is where Wiz really started cookin’. He talking slick, real player energy, then hits the chorus all smooth like it’s nothing.

It’s that cool confidence he’s always had, and this track is straight smoke and game. Now, “5 Star” was a curveball, but somehow Gunna slid right in and made it work. Nobody was expecting him on a Kush & OJ sequel, but his flow matched the vibe perfectly. It was different, but it fit, and that’s what made it work.

“Top Down” didn’t really hit the way it should’ve. Wiz and Ty Dolla $ign usually got great chemistry, but this one felt off. It’s not a bad track, just didn’t feel like it belonged on this project. Like it came from another session altogether. “Pimps n Hustlers” brings that slick-talking energy. Luh Tyler on a Kush & OJ tape? Wild, but it actually worked.

The whole tape feels like Wiz is having fun, keeping it G, and still giving us something to roll up to. Check out the full ratings for the album review below.
